Krishna asks Arjuna to perform his duties consistently, without clinging to their rewards. Such action, free from attachment, leads toward the Supreme.

A reflection for daily life

Duty can become a spiritual practice when service matters more than personal reward. Releasing attachment asks us to remain responsible and wholehearted, while loosening our demand for recognition.

Today’s practice

Complete one necessary task today without seeking praise. Begin with an intention of service, then let go of the need to be noticed.
